Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your FalaBak account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Two methods are described below.

Method 1 — Delete from inside the app

• Open the FalaBak app and sign in to your account.
• Tap the Profile tab at the bottom right.
• Go to Settings.
• Tap Delete Account.
• Read the warning screen and confirm.

Once confirmed, your account is deactivated and the deletion process begins.

Method 2 — Request by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email titled "Account and Data Deletion Request" to [email protected] from the address registered to your account. So that we can verify your request, include the email address registered to your account and your username if you have one.

Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest once identity verification is complete.

Data that is deleted

• Your account and profile details (name, username, email, birth information)
• All photographs you uploaded (coffee cup, palm, face)
• Your reading requests and all generated readings
• Your dream records, journal notes and test results
• Your notification preferences and device token records
• Your unused coin balance and reward history

Data that is retained

The following may be retained for the period required by law:

• Purchase and invoice records (tax legislation)
• Limited transaction records relating to security and abuse investigations

These records are deleted or anonymised once the retention period expires.

Can deletion be undone?

No. Once deletion is complete, your account and data cannot be recovered. Your unused coin balance and any readings in progress are also cancelled and are not refunded.
